THE DARK ANGEL

She walked along the streets like she was any other normal person.

The sun cast it's incandescent rays on her, highlighting those beautiful, amiable features.  Her beauty made every person pause and gaze. There was something enchanting, mesmerising and hypnotising about this young woman who walked swiftly passed them.

Everyone's eyes were riveted on her. They  wondered where she had come from. They wondered if she were  an angel  fallen right from the throne of god. Because, she was so beautiful, so very alarmingly beautiful, that they supposed she couldn't be from the same planet in which they lived.

They were fools.

They didn't know that there was mystery , enigma, cruel happiness, tyrannical joy, ruthless enthusiasm and unfathomable vindictiveness behind that smile. Her cat-like-eyes searched for fools like a starved, famished, Lion. Ready to devour and devastate anyone who fell prey to her.

They didn't know her eyes were black holes that appeared ardent and invigorating from afar.
But inside, it was nothing but nothingness. Grave darkness. Emptiness. Silence. Torture. Depression. Hatred. Torment.

They didn't know that if they were trapped once, they could never escape.

They didn't know that they would be eternal slaves to the queen of  darkness.

She was sin and death.
